This Jig is designed to make the lure sit up off the bottom when a pause in retieve is taken. If a grub or worm is used it allows the tail to move enticingly to provoke a take. Popuplar in the US for Walleye but equally effective for Pike, Zander and Perch in the UK. In the larger sizes it is also gaining popularity for saltwater anglers in the UK and Europe.

This little Ball Jig offers endless possibilities for lure anglers targeting Pike, Perch, Zander etc. It is one of the most popular Jig Heads in Eastern Europe, rigged with split a split ring or two split rings depending on the hook used with it (see our additional images), it has a swinging hook with tons of actionas it can move in all directions. Rig with soft plastic grub, shad, eel / worm type soft plastic lure,a bucktail or even a live bait to get more movement than any other Jig Head available.

When we tested this Jig, we used it with both soft plastic and had great effect, we also used them in conjunction with a large lobworm on a long shank size 1 hook and had Perch to 3.5lb on the first day trying them. Equally effective for Cod, Pollack, Bass and Wrasse in salt water with sizes up to 8oz for summer Cod fishing over wrecks or rough ground offshore.
