These jigs made exclusively by us using VMC jig hooks are fantastic for Gilling for Cod and Pollack. The 5/0 is ultra sharp, has a short shank which allows the plastic lure to work and has a wide gape to ensure strong hook hold on big fish.

Arrow Head Jigs / Jead Heads are ideal for fast currents as they cut through the water with minimal resistance. The Arrow Head Jig is a personal favourite, I use them in conjunction with Paddle Tail Grubs with great effect. We manufacture them using 5/0 and 6/0 VMC jigs hooks, super strong and ultra reliable. Use them with Savage Sandeel bodies (15cm), they are brilliant. Wide gape 5/0 hook makes for much improved hook hold and the shank on the VMC is shorter meaning more movement in the tail.
