2.5oz (70g) Super Cod Jig on 10/0 Hook - pack of 3
These Jig Heads were the first in our series of larger Lead Heads specifically designed for targeting Cod. We have over the years found that when fishing for big Cod with soft plastic lures conventional jigs if taken short result in a poor hook hold which results in lost fish. I wanted a Jig Head that was manufactured with a really wide gape hook that was not so thick it split all and any soft plastic lure you put on it. With considerable work and VMC hooks, we managed to come up with these Jigs and have not looked back since. These Jig Heads / Lead Heads have accounted for lots of big Cod over the last few years, here and in Norway.
